The Citizen-Centric Advisory Board is a consultative body dedicated to fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and providing recommendations to support the well-being and development of the community. This board is composed of a Counsel of Natives (seniors, youths, men, and women).
The effectiveness of Project Homeland's initiatives on the ground depends significantly on thorough research and a dedicated effort to comprehend:
Local Conditions: Gaining a deep understanding of grassroots conditions.
Community Mindsets: Grasping the perspectives and attitudes within the community.
Community Dynamics: Assessing the overall community fabric.
To achieve this, close collaboration with a committee of local stakeholders is crucial.
- Within the DRC administrative structure, the Citizen-Centric Advisory Board will function in the following capacities:
- Advise: Offer expert guidance and recommendations on matters affecting the community, including development projects, social programs, and civic initiatives.
- Engage: Act as a bridge between community members, local authorities and Project Homeland administration, ensuring that citizen perspectives and concerns are effectively communicated and considered in decision-making processes.
