Establishing a pivotal hub called the Development Resource Center (DRC).
-
To address the identified challenge, Project Homeland seeks a fresh perspective. It aims to apply the same guiding principles and strategies instrumental in developing prosperous countries to tackle these underprivileged communities' challenges.
By doing so, Project Homeland strives to break the cycle of dependency and foster enduring, self-sustaining growth and progress.
The Community First (CF) initiative begins with establishing a pivotal hub, DRC, which will serve as the operational base.
- The DRC will be strategically located in the town square for several key reasons:
- it acts as a community gathering hub
- facilitating engagement with the CF initiative
- and offers a proximity advantage, enhancing accessibility and communication with the Community
[ ] "strategic approach is essential to bridge the gap..."
The challenges "left-behind" communities face in attaining sustained development require a united effort at the global, regional, and local levels. To fully integrate these communities into the phenomenon of globalization, a serious and strategic approach is essential to bridge the gap between "developed" and "developing" countries.
With the necessary resources and a clearly defined and widely communicated vision of the ultimate goal, the Development Resource Center (DRC) embarks on its journey to effect incremental change by nudging the Community toward impactful development.
The DRC aims to achieve this through carefully planned projects designed to produce the following outcomes:
- Comprehensive Resources: Providing A-Z Resources to aid in various aspects, including understanding the mission and goals of the overall initiative, facilitating business creation, skill development, idea refinement, access to technology, access to financing, and more.
- Inclusive Roles: Identifying available roles for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring that everyone has a part to play in the initiative's success.
- Barrier Minimization: Minimizing barriers and challenges community members face in navigating their assumed roles within the initiative.
- Income Generation Possibilities: Offering three forms of revenue generation apparatus:
-
Guided Business Creation: Providing support and guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs through simple, reasonable, and straightforward benchmarks.
-
Infrastructure Building Workforce: Enabling community members to join the infrastructure-building workforce by offering targeted training aligned with immediate employment opportunities.
-
Localized Micro-financing: Allowing individuals to access safe and reasonable small business loans. Alongside this service, we provide educational programs focusing on essential investing principles, including bookkeeping, cash-flow management, and technical or professional skills like accounting. The goal is to empower local entrepreneurs and support their business ventures in a targeted and effective manner.
Project Homeland is committed to immediate action while maintaining a long-term perspective.
